Hello. I am so pleased to be offering a spectacular Napco 2P1938 purple glass hat lady head vase from my own personal collection.
She is extremely hard to find, especially in such great condition and with so many original features.
She is highly sought after and coveted by new and seasoned collectors alike.
Many collectors believe that his/her collection is not complete without at least one glass hat lady head vase.
Besides the purple one, the glass hat ladies were also made in yellow, green, pink, and blue.
This gorgeous purple lady is the only one exactly like her currently for sale on .The lady has no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, or repairs.
She is wearing a magnificent original hand-blown purple glass hat with white swirls.
She is also wearing original jewelry - gold tone tear drop "pierced" earrings and a gold tone heart and rhinestone pendant; all three rhinestones are present, clear, and shiny.
She is immaculate and is quite heavy.
Her hat is permanently attached.
She is in near mint condition.The lady has several areas of paint loss on her purple dress, consistent with that found on many head vase cold-painted areas.
The most visible one is near the base edge on her right front part of her dress.
On top of the hat, in about the "5 o'clock" position, are two small spots with a bit of extra clear blown glass; they can be felt but are almost invisible to the eye.
These relatively minor mentions in no way detract from the vase's overall attractiveness.
Please disregard the appearance of any white spots which are due to camera glare.The lady's dimensions are 5-3/4" h x 5-1/2" w x 6" d.
The bottom of the vase is marked PATENTED in raised letters.
The vase displays beautifully and is simply exquisite.The lady will be packed especially carefully before shipping and will be fully insured.
