Captain America by Alex Schomburg is a lithograph in a limited edition of 160 signed and numbered prints: 150

+ 10 Artist's Proofs. It is an accurate reproduction of his painting created in 1977, based on his original cover of Captain America #37 (April 1944). The painting is presently in a private collection.

This lithograph was produced by Color West of Burbank, California in April 1984 and signed by Alex Schomburg in the same month. It is printed on museum finish 90 lb. Buckeye Limited stock: a 100% cotton fiber, acid free paper. Overall size 23' x 29'; image size, 21' x 26'.

Framed or stored under the proper conditions it will last many generations, Publication is authorized by Marvel Comics.

This is the only limited edition lithograph of this painting, and will never be reprinted. An unlimited, unnumbered, and unsigned poster which is distinct from this edition in several ways has also been issued.
