Original pair of 1800-1820 Regency Era 14" Wedgwood Jasperware Campana Urns:

14" Matched Campana Urns wtih Flaxman & Templeton Reliefs, "WEDGWOOD" only with "mustache" potters marks (see pictures).
Circa 1820 (Regency Era). This particular shade ofdeep, intense dark bluewas typically produced prior to 1820; that, together with the quality and translucence of the reliefs, the post-dip applied white handles, and the unbolted construction, supports this dating for such large, high-end, ornamental, exhibition-style pieces. Also of note is theunevenly-pressed stamp baseline under Wedgwood signature on second urn (third to last photo).
During the first or second decade of the 1800s what must have been a VERY wealthy patron commissioned this pair of magnificent potpourri urns from Josiah Wedgwood's Etruria Works. And they've been kept as a pair for the last 200 YEARS!
Flaws: please see pictures. There are a few hairline firing cracks in the white reliefs, and (more importantly) one handle has been professionally restored (see fifth picture, left side of handle). That restoration is the only thing keeping these pieces out of a museum collection. Regardless, you won't find another original matched pair from this era and of this size on the market today.
