1970\'s High SchoolYearbookincludingstudents andfaculty, activities andsports, candids,shots of the school and surrounding, and local advertisement, includingthen high school national player of the year and future NBA Superstar Moses Malone. The yearbook belonged to Moses Malone\'s teacher in high school Mrs. Fredrick (who is pictured) to whom Malone made a long inscription in thanks for her efforts with him. He also signed 3 other photos, two included in scans here. Malone is very well represented in this annual and is the school most outstanding male student. There are many basketball in-action photos of him, some of which I have included here.From a mostly African American school.
Moses Malone was a 12-time All Star, 3-time NBA MVP, Finals MVP, 6-time rebound leader, All Defense Team, and Hall of Fame inductee. His jersey number with the Rockets and 76ers are retired. Previous to playing for the NBA, Malone was a great player with the ABA Utah Stars and the St. Louis Spirits and was inducted into the All ABA All-Time Team. One of the greatest scorers (10th) and rebounders of all time (5th) of all time, Malone spearheaded drives to the NBA FInals with the Rockets in 1981 and with the Champion 76ers in 1983.
ExcellentCondition hardback with tight binding and textand clean pages, with no must or mildew or missing pieces, with very mild shelf wear, and one page with small tear in the lower margin. Malone\'s inscription and autographs are high quality.

Great rarity that takes a look into the early life and times of one ofthe greatest basketball players of all time.
