This MAGNIFICENT wool 1910's green, brown, blue, and black camp blanket has a graphic Native American design. A blanket with the same pattern and ("rare") color combination is featured in a full-page photo in Barry Friedman's essential book on antique blanket collecting, "Still Chasing Rainbows" on page 212.It measures 62" X 68 and is in very good condition with the occasional age spot, a couple of tiny threadbare places (but no actual holes), and a few missing blanket stitches right at the edge. One edge has a red cotton machine stitched binding.
RARELY do you find early wool blankets this wonderful, and with such amazing colors ~for the serious collector!
