Hello world, I’m referring to the one and only,Richard John Sinclair Laws, (John Laws) CBE, also known as Lawsie.

Born 8thAugust 1935 and at 84 years old at time of writing, Lawsies voice continues to grace the Australian radio airways even after 60 years when he first began his radio career back in 1953.

Mesmerising the nation with talk-back radio, great music, commanding interviews, politically incorrect opinions, irreverent logic and with his no BS approach that’s made John Laws such a successful and controversial broadcaster.

The first time I heard themagical tones of his golden tonsilswas back in 1989 when I began my jewellery apprenticeship at the young age of 16. Unbeknownst to John, he became one of my mentors, I even called him one day to tell him what’s on my mind and he sent me this awesome watch. I have been enthusiastically devoted to John ever since.

Because of John, I choose to fly Qantas, I own a Toyota, I enjoy the odd Wild Turkey and Pepsi and I kill insects with Mortien,you know what I mean?Also I've had the pleasure of visiting the home of John and Caroline at his Cloud Valley Property.

After Johnsretirementin 2007, I was battling withsaudade.Lets just say I am learning to let go of my deep sentimental, emotional and spiritual connection I have with John through this watch.

This watch has been part of my private collection for 30 years and has a great deal of sentimental value. It has never been worn and still in brand new condition with original packaging. Even the battery is original so it its not working at the moment.
