A paint master is the original mask used by the factory as the master reference for duplicating the mask during production. As such, paint masters are strictly 1 of 1.

This particular mask was pulled directly from the movie master mold and was finished, painted, and haired by Christopher Nelson and Vince Van Dyke. It was produced simultaneously with the Hero masks to ensure that the Trick or Treat Studios Paint Master matched the Hero masks one-to-one in appearance and finishing.

Beyond its role as the production paint master, this is also the actual mask used by Trick or Treat Studios for promotional purposes, making it an especially significant piece of the Halloween 2018 mask's history.
