We are offering a pair of authentic Lakota Indian beaded moccasins circa 1870-1880. The moccasins are made from leather, sinew, and velvet, and feature intricate designs beaded on the tops and soles. The geometric beaded designs are primarily dark green and white, with light blue, dark blue, red, copper, and greasy yellow accents. The tassels of each moccasins also feature more beadwork and two tin cones at the end. In very good original condition. No visible bead loss. Leather tops are supple, soles are rigid. Please study the photos as they are part of the description.Each measures 9 1/2" x 3 1/2" and stands 3 1/2" tall at the back.Offered here fresh out of a collector's estate for the first time.
