A very rare and important 18 century museum shrine of Madonna & Child gilt silver belongs to the city of Nurnberg Germany .This gorgeous silver shrine has magnificent details .It belongs to circa 1710-1739.It come s with stones : Lapis, cornelian,Turquoise ....,The zigzag lines on the bottom of the piece means it belongs to early 18 century.The stamps reads:GERMANY -A-N-GNB or GNR.The piece comes with 21 color stones with 6 hand cuts crystal in 2 columns The finial is a cupid with eagle opened bird , beard old man under it with 3 angel heads above Madonna statue, it comes with gorgeous hand -chased details. The carving of Madonna and child is either faux ivory or cow bone.
