This Ginkgo tree known as the Ogusu Tree is located within the precincts of the Izumiyama Benzaiten Shrine. It is probably the largest Ginkgo tree in Japan with an age of about 1 000 years a height of 40 meters a circumference of 18 meters and a spread of 31 meters east to west. During the "Arita Pottery and Porcelain Autumn Festival" held from mid to late November the leaves of the entire giant tree turn yellow creating a romantic walking path with a yellow carpet spread beneath your feet. **Tombai Wall**
