"9-maru ki hitomoto" weaving technique uses 772 out of the total 1160 warp threads as kasuri threads (patterned threads). The "soukasuri" style uses kasuri threads for all weft threads (refer to detailed photo). This fabric is extremely rare and of high value showcasing the softness characteristic of mud-dyed Oshima. Can be used for handmade creations such as kimono Western-style clothing interior decor and folk crafts. Base color is black/light brown.
