Very rare and interesting book “The History of BOAC 1939-1974” by Winston Bray, published by the Wessex Press, hardback, 486 pages.

This substantial hardback is a comprehensive company history of BOAC from its 1939 formation to the 1974 merger into British Airways, written by Winston Bray in the year of theBOAC & BEA merger into British Airways, which was regarded by some at the time to be a disaster.My understanding is that the book was printed and bound but, by the decree of the British Airways board, it wasformally published or widely distributed, as the BA board considered it divisive. A thoroughly interesting read and very rare BOAC book. OK condition, toning & marks to covers.
