Francine AUBIN1938-2016
Born February 6, 1938 in Paris, died August 14, 2016 At the age of 20, Francine AUBIN obtained a First Prize for Composition from the CNSMP in the class of Tony AUBIN, her master, whose wife she became. The first woman to have obtained the CA of Director and to be appointed "Director" of a National Conservatory in France, she directed the Tourcoing Conservatory, then that of Paris 12th and finally the National Regional Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison.This musical career was voluntarily interrupted by the composer for 3 years (1970 - 1973) when Francine AUBIN decided to devote herself solely to painting. Under an exclusive contract at the Wally Findley Gallery, she exhibited in France and the United States under the artist name TREMBLOT.But her passion for music quickly took precedence over painting, she resumed her musical career and her job as conservatory director, at the same time becoming increasingly interested in orchestra conducting and teaching writing. She began to compose again but this time in a much more romantic style. Unlike his “youthful” work influenced by contemporary music of the 1960s, his language became increasingly tonal.Today his style, both melodic and harmonic, is considered, as Francine AUBIN explains “the language I use seems to me to be a very rare example.” This style, however, according to the critics of the performers and the public, is entirely personal.  "We recognize Francine AUBIN's music from the first bars: expressive and very sung melodic phrases, percussive rhythms, brilliant orchestration and above all a great wealth of thematic invention, allow her work to touch the hearts of the public""Music for me is made above all to move the heart and not to exhibit technical writing prowess, it allows me to express the feelings that I wish to share with my performers and the public"
Over the years, the composer's production became more and more abundant.
