I carved this great horned owl by hand from select grade, kiln dried pine. I painted it with acrylic paints, installed high quality Tohickon glass eyes, and cast feet, then I sprayed it with an ultra flat clear UV protectant spray.

I mounted it on an old stump I dug from a hill behind my house which is screwed and pinned to a 12” diameter walnut finished hardwood base.

The great horned owl is approximately 20” long. The entire carving when mounted on its base is about 24 3/4” tall.

Each of his feet have 3/8” diameter pegs on the bottom of them. These pegs fit very snugly into their mating steel tubes which are inserted into the wooden stump.

NOTE: This carving will be shipped insured for its full sales price which means an adult signature will be required upon its delivery to your house.
