This is number 7 out of 50 limited edition table top sized 2 pc bronzes signed by Bill Nebeker. The larger than life monument sized version of Lest We Forget was commissioned by Nebeker's hometown, Prescott, Arizona, where it stands prominently in the Prescott Courthouse Plaza as the Yavapai County Fallen Officer Memorial. The 2 piece number matched maquette set here was made for private collectors. It depicts a solemn, territorial era lawman with his cowboy hat in hand, gazing down mournfully at a pair of empty cowboy boots, symbolizing a fallen comrade. The lawman and empty boots are separate pieces that can be positioned as desired. This set is highly sought after by Western art enthusiasts appealing to cowboy and law enforcement.
