A rare opportunity to acquire this circa 1918 exquisite solid silver and hardstone miniature timepiece by World renowned watchmaker ‘Breguet’. This remarkable clock features a circular white enamel dial set within an arched silver case adorned with reeded decoration, mounted on a green hardstone plinth base. The gilt finished hand wound lever movement is stamped “90837,” and the interior of the case door is engraved with “BREGUET 3544.” Measuring 6.2 cm in height, the timepiece is presented in its original Breguet-signed leather triptych outer case.

Accompanying the clock is a paper copy of an email from Breguet’s head office in Paris, confirming that this extraordinary piece was purchased on January 30, 1923, by Mr. H.H. Morris for the notable sum of 450 Francs. Interestingly, it was acquired alongside another miniature clock, for which he paid an additional 1,000 Francs. This second timepiece is featured in a separate listing.
