Antique Renaissance Revival gem set 18K yellow gold Latin cross pendant with 16 rare semi black jelly opals (each cabochon cut stone approximately 3 to 4 mm. in diameter x 2 to 2.5 mm. deep - totaling just under 2 carats) - featuring royal blue inset enamelto the outer edge - original large gold bale - beautifully finished back with open framework that allows the opals to glow from within -warm aged patina - unsigned- United States - circa 1880's.

Excellent antique condition - all original - no loss- no damage - no repairs - signs of age and use - ready to wear.
