Halloween Party Games for Kids
Your family’s Halloween party isn’t complete without a few fun-filled, kid-friendly activities. You have the menu set, bought plenty of treats and planned spooky standout costumes. Now what? It’s time to come up with a few creative games and other entertaining ideas to keep the kids busy! If you’re not sure where to start, check out this ghostly ghoulish ideas.
Magically transform into floating ghosts for this game. Your kiddos and their gets will need to get creative, moving like ghosts as they try to tag the other players. Not only are the players who get tagged out, but anyone who stops “floating” is out too!
Who can come up with the best bubbling brew of the crew? Give each child, or family, a mini cauldron cup to work with. If you can’t find small cup-style cauldrons, draw the round shape onto black card stock paper and tape it to the front of a larger, wide cup or plastic bowl. Set up a buffet of child-friendly drinks and mix-ins. These could include different flavors of soda, juice, food coloring, seltzer water, crystal sugar and anything else you want. Add in tonic watrer, turn off the main lights and turn on a black light to create a glowing surprise!
Candy Scavenger Hunt
Create your own trick-or-treat Halloween scavenger hunt inside or in your well-lit yard. Hide the candy as-is or place into orange holiday-themed plastic eggs. Time the kids to see who can fill plastic pumpkins or pillowcases with candy the fastest.
