Combine breakfast and lunch into the perfect brunch sandwich. Choose dad’s favorite bread as a base. You can toast the breast and scramble or fry a few eggs for dad. Let the kiddos assemble the sandwich, adding cheese, lettuce, avocados and other veggies.
Use your fave pancake recipe or a boxed version. Let the kids measure and mix the ingredients before you cook the breakfast meal. Pile the pancakes on a plate and ask your children to dress them up. They can add syrup, berries, sliced bananas, chocolate chips, whipped cream or sprinkles.
With all the chocolate, whipped cream and sprinkles on dad’s pancakes, he needs a healthy addition to his brunch meal. Your child can mix different types of lettuce in a large bowl. Add cherry tomatoes, peppers, olives or anything else dad likes. Sweeten the salad with chopped dried fruit and a splash of dressing.
