Easy St. Patrick’s Day Kids’ Treats
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with plenty of green-themed treats. If you don’t have time to create a full menu of Pinterest-worthy goodies, you can still whip up a few yummy ideas with the kids. Whether you’re having a holiday party, helping out at your child’s classroom St. Patty’s Day bash or are just looking for a few ideas to try out at home, these ideas are easy (and fun) to make!
Don’t worry if you’re not a from-scratch type of baker. Simply add a few drops of green food coloring to a boxed white cake mix and you have a holiday-themed treat. Frost the cupcakes with green icing or make your own hue by dropping food coloring into white frosting. Sprinkle shamrock-shaped candy pieces on top of the cupcakes to complete the culinary creation!
Melt white chocolate in the microwave. Stir in a few drops of green food coloring. Sprinkle in crushed green candy canes or a similar green hard candy. Spread the mix over a piece of wax paper and pop it into the freezer. After it’s frozen, break the bark apart.
Turn store-bought cookies into a holiday treat with a little green icing. Frost sugar cookies with green icing, and then add green sprinkles. That’s it!
