What says, “Halloween” more than candy corn? The super-sweet fall treat is a holiday staple that kids know and love. Check out these easy-to-make desserts that all use candy corn!
As if s’mores aren’t ooey and gooey enough on their own, imagine adding candy corn. Sandwich toasted marshmallows (you can warm them in the microwave if you don’t have a campfire handy) and white chocolate in between graham crackers. Before adding the top graham toss in a few pieces of candy corn. Or, add a second melted marshmallow to the top of the stacker, mixing the candy corn in with it. Keep in mind, this treat is sticky and not always easy to chew. Save this one for older kids, teens and adults. Younger kids may have a tough time chewing it, turning the s’more into a choking hazard.
Ice Cream Sundae
Ice cream? Check. Chocolate syrup? Check. Whipped cream? Check. Candy corn? Um, what? That’s right. Add a few pieces of candy corn to your Halloween ice cream sundae—instead of sprinkles.
Sandwich vanilla ice cream in between two of your favorite cookies. Roll the sides through candy corn, coating the ice cream!
Melt chocolate, mix in a few handfuls of candy corn and spread the sweet stuff across a parchment paper-covered baking pan. Pop the pan in the fridge until the chocolate is solid. Remove the bar from the pan and crack it into pieces.
