4 Kids Crafts for Your Thanksgiving Table
You don’t need to spend your entire holiday budget on Thanksgiving table décor. No way. Instead, have the kids dress-up the table with these easy DIY décor crafts.
Napkin Rings
If you have a paper towel roll, you have napkin rings. Cut the tube apart into 2- to 3-inch sections. Paint the outsides in fall colors, such as red, yellow and orange. Your child can get creatively crafty and add felt, fabric or glitter and glue too!
Place Cards
Fold card stock paper into little tents to start the place card-making process. Your child can draw a holiday scene on the front, and then use stencils to add each family member’s or friend’s name.
Placemats
Turn 8×10-inch craft felt sheets into cute holiday placemats by adding a turkey, cornucopia or other Thanksgiving-themed ideas. Cut other pieces of craft felt into shapes and glue it onto the mat to complete the craft. Your child can add extra embellishments with fabric markers.
Centerpiece
Turn a paper bag into a turkey-themed centerpiece for the holiday table. Fill the bag with newspapers or paper towels. Twist the end together and tape it. Glue craft feathers to one side and draw a turkey face on the other with markers.
